Obituary for Tifney Chatman Tifney Nakia Chatman, 32, of Keansburg, New Jersey, passed away on April 2, 2018. She was born in Perth Amboy, NJ to Kelvin and Anna Chatman on January 9, 1986. She graduated from Matawan Regional High School in Matawan, NJ and worked as a Recreation Aide for many years at Briarwood Care & Rehabilitation Center before leaving the workforce.

A true daddy’s-girl, Tifney had an unmatched sweetness and gentle way about her with a smile that lit any room she entered. She enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to music. Her favorite song was “I Won’t Complain” by Rev.

Paul Jones. Despite the many obstacles in her life, Tifney remained hope and faith-filled always looking toward the future and finding comfort in Christ. Tifney is survived by her parents, Kelvin & Anna Chatman of Keansburg, NJ, brother Anthony Chatman (sp.

Tameka) and nephew Tavian of Cliffwood, NJ, grandmother Anna Alberta Chatman, Godmothers Luberta James and Sharon Coley, aunts and uncles Sharon Coley (sp. Aaron), Debra Lawson (sp. Jody), Yolane Marcano (sp.

Robert), Eddie Earl Coley (sp. Linda), Norman Coley, Evon Robinson (sp. Dwight), Marshall Coley, and a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her uncle Rommie Coley, grandparents Charlie Chatman, Almi Coley and Pastor Eddie B. Coley, Godfather Wilbert James, aunt Cynthia Chatman, and uncle Erroll “Wayne” Chatman. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The family wishes to express their gratitude to Holy Mountain COGIC and Jacqueline M.
