Obituary for Timothy Gordan “Swifty” Swift Timothy Gordan Swift, 57, of Battle Creek, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Bronson Battle Creek in Battle Creek. He was born August 28, 1961 in Battle Creek, the son of Glen and Vicki (Veeder) Swift. Tim graduated from Battle Creek Central High School.

He married Theresa Oliverio on August 18, 1985 in Battle Creek. Tim worked for Republic Services as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 34 years. He enjoyed working on cars and dirt bikes and riding motorcycles.

Tim loved his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He had a huge heart and loved to have fun. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; daughters, Lacey (Matt) Mitschke and Ashley Swift; mother, Vicki; sister, Lisa (Joseph) Mcjilton; grandchildren, Jordan, Gabriella, Hudson, and Laela; niece, Tegan (Dustin) Leonard; nephew, Tanir Mcjilton; great niece, Korra Leonard; and great nephew, Torrin Leonard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen and granddaughter, Gracie. Visitation will be held Friday, February 1st from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service with the funeral to immediately follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery in Lacey, MI.
