He was born November 11, 1935 in Levelland, Texas to Frank James and Frances (Bishop) Silhan. Tommy farmed in Cochran County for over 62 years with his brothers, Joe and Charley.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Frances Betty O’Conell and LuDee Silhan; and his brother, Joe Silhan. Tommy is survived by his two sisters, Rose Lytle of Fort Worth, Texas and Mary Irene Shakespear of Levelland, Texas; two brothers, James Frank Silhan of Levelland, Texas and Charley Silhan of Morton, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. The family suggest memorials be sent to your local church or the charity of your choice.
