Obituary for Tommy D. Harmon Tommy D. Harmon, 71, passed away Tuesday at his home in Benicia. He was born in Benicia and lived there for more than 44 years. Tommy was a draftsman at Mare Island Naval Shipyard and later at L.D. Strobel in Concord for a total of more than 47 years before retiring in 1995.

He loved to go SCUBA diving as well as diving for abalone, was a coin collector. He enjoyed traveling and rooting for the Giants and 49ers. Tommy is survived by his wife Patricia; sons Steven (Tania) Harmon and Doug Harmon; sister Sonya Sue DiAngelo and grandchildren Jackson & Emma Harmon.
