Obituary for Tommy Jayson Compton Sr Tommy Jayson Compton Sr March 28, 1957 – May 9, 2018 Tommy Jayson Compton Sr, born March 28, 1957, passed away May 9, 2018 at North Caddo Medical Center in Vivian LA, surrounded by his loving family. He was 61 years old and a resident of Bloomburg TX. Tommy attended Cross Way church in Queen City TX, where he loved hearing Brother Curtis Hutchinson preach the gospel.

Tommy loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was loved by so many and will be missed beyond words. He is preceded in death by his parents Billy and Opal Compton; and his brother Charlie Compton.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 44 years, Cheryl Compton of Bloomburg TX; son Tommy Jason Compton Jr and wife Holly of Bloomburg TX; daughter Dee-Ann Pond and husbnd Roger of Bloomburg TX; five grandchildren Luke, Haylee, Addie Mae, Maddie Mae, and Harper; sisters Margaret Russell and husband Edwin of Atlanta TX, and Angie Russell and husband Terry of Bloomburg TX; brothers Larry Compton of Queen City TX, and Ricky Compton and wife Michelle of Atlanta TX. Tommy’s services will be under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home. His visitation will begin Friday evening, May 11, 2018, from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM.

A graveside service at New Hope Cemetery in Bloomburg will begin the next morning at 10:00 AM. Pall bearers will be Roger Pond, James Pond, Matt Whittington, Dennis Langston, Greg Clark, and Charlie Burton.
