Tommy L. Tucker, 90, of Milan, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Moline. Funeral services are 10 am Saturday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan.

Burial is at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Taylor Ridge. Visitation is 4 to 7 pm Friday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

Tommy was born May 11, 1928 in Cedar, Iowa, a son of Clarence and Elsie Witte Tucker. He married Fern Bestian on Jan. 10, 1959 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

He was the owner and operator of Tri City Tire, Davenport. Tommy later worked as a delivery person for Staack Florist, Moline. He was longtime active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan.

Tommy was also a member and past president of the Milan Optimist Club and a former president of the Milan Indian Summer Festival. He enjoyed doing yard work, spending time on his swing, and all sports, especially the Hawkeyes, Dodgers, Rams, bowling and playing golf. Survivors include his wife, Fern; children, Karen Edmund, Milan, Debra (Douglas) Snyder, Bettendorf, Barry (Patty) Tucker, Davenport; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, J.D., Cody, Chad, Samantha, Victoria, Anthony; seven great grandchildren; and his sister, Hazel Hite, New Sharon, Iowa.
