Born in Hendersonville, NC, she was the wife of Robert Wells and daughter of the late George Lee Thomas Barrett and Mary Sigmon Barrett. She was a 1973 graduate of Gaffney High School, loved her family and crocheting and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are a son, Terry Wells of Pacolet; a daughter, Dawn Rosas and husband, Rafael of Gaffney; four brothers, Jimmy Barrett and wife, Elizabeth of Gaffney, Larry Dean Barrett and wife, Jan, Jerry Barrett and wife, Jennifer and George Barrett and wife, Gloria, all of Cowpens; three grandchildren, Juan Rosas, Eric Rosas and Cera Rosas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Wells. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905. The family will be at their respective homes. An online guest register is available at www.
