Bobbie (Dootsie) Lois Cathrine Bolin Perry July 30, 1933 – January 18, 2019 Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Bobbie (Dootsie) Perry Gaffney, SC – – Bobbie (Dootsie) Lois Cathrine Bolin Perry, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 18, 2019 at her residence. Born in York, she was the loving wife of Stanyarn (Junebug) Perry for 68 years and the daughter of the late Robert (Jack) Bolin and Estelle Wright Bolin. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, was owner/operator of Perry’s Fishing Lakes and was a dedicated homemaker.

She enjoyed auctions, shopping for grandchildren and had a great love for her family. Mrs. Perry was a faithful Army wife for 21 years and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband, also surviving are a son, Johnny Lee Perry of Gaffney; three daughters, Catherine (Cathy) Ann Perry, Melissa (Lisa) Clearwater and Judy Hemme Perry, all of Gaffney; eight grandchildren, Brandy Perry, Katie Perry, Dianna Peterson and husband, Benji, Christopher Perry, John Thomas Perry, Jon-Emery Clearwater, Kristina Jolley and Jon-Michael Jolley; eight great-grandchildren, Daniel Gowan, Brianna Gowan, Cameron Peterson, Hannah Peterson, Aiden Bolin, Kandace Jolley, Cecilia Jolley and Kaelyn Jolley; a brother-in-law, Reverend Charles Phillips of Asheville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by a son, Michael (Mike) Stan Perry; a brother, Clifford Bolin; and three sisters, Ruby Martin, Janet Belue and Dorothy Owens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Phillips officiating.

Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: American Cancer Association, Cherokee County Unit, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC, 29615 or Shriners Children’s Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC, 29605. The family will be at the residence.
