Tranquilino Alonzo July 06, 1939 – January 04, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Tranquilino Alonzo age 79, went home to be with the Lord Friday January 4, 2019 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Harlingen. He retired from Wal Mart after many years of service.

He leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memory his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Sofia Alonzo and two children, Elizabeth Alonzo Rodriguez (Gilberto Xavier Rodriguez Jr.) and Jesus Jaime Alonzo (Victoria Castro), 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, Siblings, Felcia, Maria, Jesus and Pablo Alonzo along with numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Mr. Alonzo is preceded in death by his son, Omar Alonzo Jr., his parents, Geronimo and Genoveva Alonzo and 3 brothers, Federico, Matias and Pepe Alonzo. Visitation will be held Sunday January 6, 2019 from 1 pm to 9 pm with prayer service to begin at 7 pm in the evening.

Chapel Service of Christian burial will held on Monday January 7, 2019 at 10 am. Entombment will follow to Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum & Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Omar Alonzo Jr., Xavier Rodriguez, Jesus Jaime Alonzo Jr., Victor Ornelas, Rogelio Alonzo, Omarian Ray Amos and Paul Garcia.
