Treva Lois Brunker, 97, of Poland, died Thursday morning May 31, 2018 at her home. She was born March 14, 1921 in Massillon, Ohio a daughter of Thomas and Ruby (Brown) Tripp. She was a graduate of Massillon High School Class of 1938, and had been a homemaker.

She was a member of the Poland Village Baptist Church, and the Christian Womens Club. Her favorite past time was cooking. She leaves her son, Larry (Beverly) Brunker of Poland; her grandson, Donald (Danica) Brunker of Norton, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Grace Abigail, and Trevor Owen Brunker, as well as her sister, Berdine Veigel of Canton.

Her husband. Maurice Brunker, whom she married March 29, 1941 died December 12, 1979. Besides her parents and her husband, Treva was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday June 4, 2018 at the Poland Village Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Etheridge officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery, in Youngstown. Friends may call Sunday from 3-6:00p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland and one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family would like to express their special thanks to Joann, Linda, Debbie, and Jo, as well as Dr. Villaplana and the staff of Grace Hospice, especially Tara and Anne. Their help in Mom’s final weeks was immeasurable. In lieu of flowers, the family requests material contributions take the form of donations to the mission fund at the church.
