Twila’s Obituary Port Leyden- Twila M. Rocker, 84, passed on February 24, 2019 at Lewis County Residential Healthcare Facility, Lowville. She was born in Swancott Mills on July 15, 1934, a daughter of Arthur (Bud) and Grace Jones Buffet. She grew up in Swancott Mills and in 1952 was united in marriage with Francis W. Rocker Sr. in Port Leyden.

Mr. Rocker passed away in 2002. For two years she was employed at the Keyes Pancake House, Old Forge, but was primarily a homemaker most of her life. Twila was a charter member of Calvary Bible Church, Greig.

She also taught school at the church. She loved animals and her pets and enjoyed baking bread and pies. Surviving are her children, Alton and Debbie Rocker, Garland Texas, Luann and David Ward, Lyons Falls, Francis Jr. and Heidi Rocker, Castorland, Arthur Rocker, Lyons Falls, Billy and Bonnie Rocker, Liverpool, and Tina and Scott Rounds, Lyons Falls; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and one sister, Marjorie Nellenback, Ava.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Lowell, Donald and Alton Buffet. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 27 at 7 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home, 301 Post Street, Boonville. Calling hours will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
