Tyler was born August 23, 1986, in Elyria and was raised in Wakeman. He graduated with the class of 2004 from Firelands High School where he was captain of his football team during his senior year.

Tyler worked in construction for Quality Gutters for the last 2 years. He enjoyed socializing with his friends and was loved by all. Survivors include his parents Timothy P. and Louann Mayo (nee: Snyder) of Wakeman; his sister Andrea of Wakeman; his paternal grandparents Rev.

Paul and Marylou Mayo of Wellington; and his maternal grandmother Doris Shamblin of Oberlin Twp. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Gary Shamblin in 2007. Friends may call Sunday, February 3, 2019, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave.

, Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Monday at Noon. Burial will follow at Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion, Ohio.
