Unieda Burleson Robinson, 78, of Prices Creek, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late James and Tommie Lee Arrowood Burleson. She was also preceded in death by a brother: Clinton Burleson; and, a great granddaughter: Sarah Dawn Carpenter.

Unieda was the best friend of her husband, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful cook. Surviving are her husband of 60 years: Cleo Robinson; sons: Rev. C. J. Robinson and wife, Kathy, Gary Robinson and wife, Julie, and Derrick Robinson and wife, Chris; daughters: Tyrina Garland and husband, Rodney and Christel McFarland and husband, Lee, all of Burnsville; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; a sister: Karen Ward and husband, Joe, of Oak Ridge, TN; and, special friends: Frank and Mary Emily Wilson of Burnsville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM Sunday in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Lee Cope will officiate.

Burial will be in the Autrey Cemetery at South Estatoe Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
