Valeria M. Vorderburg, age 98, of Toledo passed away December 27, 2018 at Ohio Living Swan Creek Care Center. She was born in Toledo on November 15, 1920 to George and Alvina (Conrad) Steffen. She met her future husband Raymond at the Trianon Ballroom and they shared a marriage of 60 years together.

A dedicated homemaker who loved her family, Valeria lived a long and healthy life and was able to live independently in her late years. Preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 2000. Surviving are her children, Susan (Dick) Wagoner and Denny (Peggy) Vorderburg; sister Murial Romp; grandchildren, Heather (Michael) Ragusa, Shana (Gregg) Filep, Anne Vorderburg and Treyton Vorderburg and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday December 30, 2018 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. with a sharing of memories at 5:00 p.m. in the Thomas I. Wisniewski Funeral Home 2426 North Reynolds Rd. Toledo, OH. 43615.
