Obituary for Valerie Esquibel-Sergi Valerie Esquibel-Sergi, 56, died May 7, 2018 in Olympia, Washington with her beloved husband by her side. She was born in Cheyenne to Betty Esquibel on January 11, 1962. She attended Central High School graduating in 1980.

Valerie moved to Washington in 1994 where she met the love of her life, Ron while working at the Thurston County Courthouse in 1997. She is survived by her husband. Ron Sergi, mother, Betty Fresquez, son, James (Crystal) and granddaughters, Elayna and Emiliah Esquibel.

Bonus children include, Jacob Sergi, Julie (David) and grandson, Ozzie Jones of Washington. A sister, Michelle (Rob) Skogstrand, of Cheyenne, a brother, Chris Fresquez (Tammy) of Las Vegas, Nevada. Valerie is preceded in death by her grandmother, Josefita Esquibel.

Valerie loved gardening and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren. The family will be hosting their own memorial service in her memory on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment of her urn will follow at Olivet Cemetery.
