Obituary for Valerie Doiel Valerie Joy Doiel, 60, of Fayetteville, Arkansas was born on February 15, 1957. She passed away suddenly on September 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Helen and Robert Watts, father Clarence Longtin, sister- Victoria Waugh, and brother -Jason Longtin.

She is survived by her husband Danny Doiel, of Fayetteville, AR. Two children, Julia Longtin and wife Jessie Mark; Jessica Scott and husband, Bobby Threadgill, as well as their 3 children Elizabeth Knapp, Alexander Threadgill , Belladonna Threadgill. She is also survived by her three brothers, Jerry Longtin, Jay Longtin and Cal Longtin.

In 1975 Valerie graduated from Westfork high, proudly Joining the National Guard the same year and was honorably discharged in 1977. Valerie and Danny were married on Sep 17 1977. In 1990, she followed her dream of opening a professional hand quilting business, shortly thereafter becoming a member of the NWA Quilt Guild.

Some of her most prideful moments and greatest achievements were made and shared with the Guild. She spent the last years of her life volunteering with the DAV, and making items for the homeless and children in need. She enjoyed attending church services and always loved singing in the choir.

Aside from her many achievements her greatest joy came from watching her children and grandchildren grow. She was loved by many and will be sadly missed A memorial service will be held at the Nazarene Church of Springdale AR. on 29, Sept.

2018 at 3:00 pm.
