Velva Elizabeth Weibley, age 87, of Carlisle passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. She was born July 9, 1930 in Newville, PA to the late John and Loie Mae (Ott) Hefflefinger. She was a member of Good Shepherd Community United Methodist Church and a 46 year member of Old Bellaire Chapter #375, Order of the Eastern Star.

Velva is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Robert J. Weibley of Carlisle; two daughters, Deborah (husband William) Piper of Carlisle and Donna (husband Joseph) Lapano of Harrisburg; two brothers, Ebert (wife Blanche) Hefflefinger of Newville and Wayne (wife Mary) Hefflefinger of Carlisle; one sister, Miriam Barton of Chambersburg; four grandchildren, Nicole (husband Jeremy) Rhone of Carlisle, Jared Weibley (significant other Beth Ann Babinsack) of Lititz, Caroline Lapano of King of Prussia and Brekan Piper (fiancé Grant Zeigler, DO) of Hummelstown; daughter-in-law, Sandra Weibley of Carlisle; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert J. Weibley Jr. and six siblings, Kenneth Hefflefinger, Edwin Hefflefinger, Clair Hefflefinger, Wilmer Hefflefinger, Lester Hefflefinger and Evelyn Stuart. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd.

, Carlisle, PA with Pastor Donald C. Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
