Virginia A. Dellinger, age 76, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore. She was born on June 11, 1942 in Carlisle to the late Robert and Dorothy (Reeser) Trimmer. Virginia was a 1960 graduate of Carlisle High School and was an active member of Doubling Gap Church of God.

She enjoyed fishing, cooking, traveling to the mountains and the beach and especially loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Wayne R. Dellinger of Carlisle; six children, Tonya R. Shipley of Gettysburg, Scott S. (wife Kimberlee) Boisvert of Hollywood, MD, Monica L. (husband Timothy) Jumper of Newville, David A. Dellinger of Carlisle, Roberta L. Dellinger of Carlisle and Maxine L. (husband Michael) Bond of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother, Robert Trimmer (companion Sue) of Lititz; one sister, Sue Lynn (husband Tony) Joyce of Aurora, CO; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA with Pastor Donald C. Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
