Obituary for Ms. Vera Louise Cullen Cullen – Vera D. Cullen, age 91 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in Glen St. Mary, Florida. She was born February 4, 1927 in Baker County, Florida to Dan Davis and Vetrice Pearce Davis. Vera enjoyed a lengthy career in accounting and switch services for Southern Bell.

She retired in 1982 after 37 years of service. Her number one passion was gardening, but she also loved fishing, canning fruits and vegetables and watching Gator Football. Vera is predeceased by her parents; and husband of 51 years, Archie B. Cullen, Sr. Vera is survived by her children Archie (Angie) Cullen, Jr. of Glen St. Mary, FL, and Alyson McDaniel (Barry Brown) of Glen St. Mary, FL; brothers, Avery (Barbara) Davis of Live Oak, FL; sisters, Fairy Lee (Algie) Davis of Sanderson, FL, Carlis Harvin of Interlachen, FL, and Eveline Lyons of Macclenny, FL; grandchildren, Brooke (Jeremiah) Robinette, and Ashley (George) Cullen; great grandchildren, Dillan, Kaiden, Jayce, Ariana, and Landon.

A Celebration of Vera’s Life will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Ferreira Funeral Services with Pastor Wilford McCormick officiating. Interment will follow at South Prong Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 starting at 5:00 p.m. at her son, Archie Cullen’s residence, at 12304 Clet Harvey Rd.
