Verl LeRoy Gessel 1923 ~ 2018 Verl LeRoy Gessel, 95, passed away peacefully at home on October 30, 2018 of causes incident to age. He was born on April 7, 1923 in Providence, Utah to Henry Brandt and Edna May Frederick Gessel. Our husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather provided valiant and honorable service to his country, his family, his community, and his church.

He cherished his “forever family”. Verl is survived by his precious wife, Patricia; his daughter, Bonnie; his two sons, Raymond and Alan; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Riverdale Stake Center, 4000 S. Parker Drive. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and on Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
