Diane (Deena) McKown Robbins, (61) donned her angel wings on December 23, 2018 and is now with Jesus celebrating her eternal life. A current resident of Layton, Utah, she grew up in Richmond, Virginia and lived there until 2002. She is survived by her loving husband Gary Robbins, children Sara Walker (Rob) and Chance Brown (Tiara) and three beloved grandchildren Gary, Trinity, and Orion.

The daughter of June H. McKown and Philip G. McKown (deceased). Diane was one of four girls and is survived by her sisters Mary Kay Cyrus (Ken), Martha Kelley (Lewis), and Mary Ellen Fines (Mark) as well as two nieces (Abby Fines and Mary Virginia Kelley) and two nephews (Cory Fines and Sean Kelley). Always known for her gentle spirit, optimism, sincere care and consideration of others first, she was also a tremendous fan of Disney, Minions, and cute little mice.

Her second love after her immediate family was the theatre and her theatre families in Virginia, California, and Utah. Diane, the center stage is now yours; take your well-earned bow for a life well lived. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No.

Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. A celebration of her life will also be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Chamberlayne Actors Theatre, 319 N. Wilkinson Road, Richmond, VA 23227.
