Clista Marie Wall Stark, daughter of Thomas Varnam and Dorothy Clista Young Wall, born in Layton, Utah on May 5, 1930 died on December 24, 2018. She married George Wayne Stark on January 23, 1948. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various positions in the church throughout her life, one of her favorites being working with 11-year old boys in the scouting program. She was tiny in stature but a giant in spirit who made a huge and positive impact on everyone who came in contact with her. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her children, Lon Stark (Sheila), Thane Stark, Lynn Stark (Deana), Christine Balbag (Dean), Rebecca Craythorn (Craig), Troy Stark (Jennifer), and her brother Wayne (Cleone) Wall. Also surviving are daughter-in-law, Janet Weight and sister-in-law, Norma Wall. Preceded in death by her husband, sons Lee Stark, Bernie Stark, parents, brothers Ted Wall, Grant Wall,Thomas Wall and grandson Skylar B. Stark.

Clista has 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She wishes to thank the Orchard Grove Ward, her neighbors, friends and family for their support throughout the years as well as her caretakers and hospice care over the last year. She prays that we all love, care for, and help each other.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd. , Layton, Utah.

Friends may visit with family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd.
