She had a great secret, when you give unconditionally, YOU become more. She left her home and heart open to anyone needing a safe shelter from their storms. A delicious meal whether you were hungry or not seemed to appear magically, and suddenly you had a voracious appetite.
Holidays were magic. Because of her we are Believers. The Glitter, and sparkle will continue to get in our hair and on the carpet, only now we won’t rush to tidy up, instead we’ll let a tear of memory slide down our cheek, and in that moment we’ll remember, and hold onto the memories and the sparkles that are past forgetting.
We will cherish, our crocheted hankies, ceramics, and paintings rendered by her creative hands. We will miss her fabulous style, impeccable taste, her dazzling jewelry, and the way she lit up a room. LaVoie has belonged to various organizations throughout the years.
She has served faithfully in numerous church callings. It can be said that she truly lived. She was preceded in death by her sister, LuJean (John) Bouwhuis; brother, Duane (Bev) Ozmun; and grandson, Coleman Quist.
