Verna Marie Jones, age 80, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019. She was born on May 17, 1938, in Chester, Arkansas, to the late John & Florence Cochran, and was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Jones. She was a member of Cochran Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane (Ricky) Smith of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Scott Smith, Heather Smith, Ashley Smith; great-grandchildren, Katie Smith, Aiden Smith and Piper Smith. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 2 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Brother Matthew Beasley officiating. Interment will follow the service in Cochran Ridge Baptist Church cemetery.
