Vernon “Lamont” Adamson, Jr., age 63, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. He was born to Vernon L. Adamson, Sr. and Dollie L. Adamson on August 18, 1954 in Gary, IN. He graduated from Lew Wallace High School Class of 1972.

Vernon attended United Electric Institute of Technology in Little Rock, AR. He was a member of First A.M.E. Church. Preceded in death by his parents.

Vernon is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Adamson; sons, Vernon (Anngela) Adamson, III; Brandon Adamson and Jeremy Adamson; three grandsons, Joshua, Noah and Benjamin; two sister, Darlene (Booker) Henderson and Miriam (Johnnie) Tangle; a host of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Rose Room at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46408 (219) 980-5555. Funeral Service will be on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Main at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary, IN. Lamont will be dearly missed by his loving family and precious friends. God Grant Him Eternal Peace.
