Vernon L. King, 90, a former long-time resident of Ottawa Lake, MI, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018, at The Toledo Hospital. Vern was employed with the Enterprise Roofing and Sheet Metal Company for more 21 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 1138.

Vern was proud to have served with the United States Army where he was a Paratrooper during the Korean War. He is survived by his loving daughter Lucinda Vardaman; grandchildren Josette Vardaman, Joe (Mellisa) Vardaman, and Jodie (Jason) Lorenzen; great-grandchildren Katie, Robert, Allison, Joseph, Michael, Dennis, and Dylan; and his faithful K-9 Companion King. The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at the St. Michael Lutheran Church, 5790 W. Temperance Road, Ottawa Lake, MI.

Wednesday May 2nd at 11 AM, where friends may gather one-hour prior. Those wishing to offer memorials in Vern’s memory are asked to consider the St. Michael Lutheran Church or the Ottawa Lake Sportsman Club. Professional Services provided by the Reeb Funeral Home.
