Obituary for Verona June Shackelford Verona June Shackelford, 80, of Magnolia, AR, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the Magnolia Health and Rehabilitation Center. June was born on June 14, 1937 in Russellville, AL to the late Alvin Ray and Eula Lucille (Roach) Kelley. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Willisville, AR.

She was a homemaker and lifelong wife of a minister. June was a beautiful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family dearly. Verona was preceded in death by her parents; brother Buck Kelley; and sister Jo Ann Kelley.

She is survived by her husband Herschel Shackelford of Magnolia; son Rick Shackelford (Linda) of Emerson; grandchildren Michael Shackelford (Ashly), Shellie Kelley (Corey) both of Emerson; great grandchildren, Collin Kelley, Kynlee Shackelford and Channing Shackelford all of Emerson; sister in law Jan Kelley of Northport, AL; brother in law Charles Shackelford (Lynette) of Malvern; nephew Brian Kelley of Northport, AL; niece Natalie Lamkins (CJ) of Fayetteville, NC; and her current and past church families. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Justice and Bro.

Justin Clark officiating. Burial will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be David Clark, Jeremy Casey, Van Smith, Chase Sutton, David A. Shackelford, and Bobby Shackelford. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Lee Daniells and the employees of Miller Pest Control. The family requests memorial donations be sent to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, PO Box 641, Magnolia, AR 71754.
