Smith, 71, of Roselle, NJ passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Werson Funeral Home, 635 North Wood Avenue, Linden, on Monday, January 7th at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.

Visiting hours are on Sunday, January 6th from 4 to 8 PM. Veronica was born in Brooklyn, NY, and has lived in Roselle the past 20 years, prior Hackensack, NJ. She was employed as a registered nurse for the University of Hoboken Medical Center (formerly St. Mary Hospital), in Hoboken for 42 years retiring in 2012.

Veronica was an expert at Needlepoint. Veronica was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond Goodell in 2011, and her sister, Sister Jane Marie O.P. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Grausso and her husband Michael, and her brother, Bob Smith and his wife Ellen, 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations to St. Catherine of Sienna Convent, 7 Ryerson Avenue, Caldwell, NJ, 07006 in her memory would be appreciated.
