Obituary for Vicki Marlain Gorder Vicki Marlain Gorder passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at The Baylor Scott and White Heart Hospital of Plano Texas. She was born on January 12, 1958, in Dallas, TX, to Joe Bentley and Alice May (Mize) Henager. She dedicated her life to helping others whether through her years of work in domestic violence counseling or through her administrative work through her church.

Remarkably, she accomplished this while mostly being a single parent. Vicki was a doer who never let supposed “limitations” stop her from accomplishing anything she set her mind to. Her work ethic and determined spirit helped to inspire those around her and were instilled in her children from an early age.

She is survived by her two brothers, Rick Henager (62), of El Paso, Texas, and Domini Henager (50) of Rowlett, Texas, her sisters-in-law, Joyce Kay Henager and Norma Michele Henager and by her two sons, Joshua Thomas Medulla, and Joseph David Medulla, a daughter-in-law Kassie Medulla, her grand-daughters, Victoria, Niveah, Isabell, Landry, and Remy, one great-grandson, Maverick. She was preceded in death by her parents and her Canine Lifemate, Wookie. Friends and family members whose lives Vicki touched are invited to a celebration of her life at Rest Haven Funeral Home on Highway 66 in Rockwall, Texas on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10:00am-11:30am.

There will be a short visitation period prior to the actual service beginning at 9:00am, and there will be a gathering at New Horizon Vineyard Church, 4301 Dalrock Rd, Rowlett, TX, 75088, immediately following.
