Obituary for Vicky McKee Vicky McKee, 64, formerly of Pickering and Maryville, Missouri, died June 3, 2018 at her home in Huntsville, Alabama. She had been a resident of Huntsville since 1983. She was born March 10, 1954, in Maryville, Missouri, to Dr. G.L. and Shirley McKee.

Vicky graduated from North Nodaway High School in 1972 and attended Gard Business School in St. Joseph, Missouri. While in Huntsville, Vicky worked as a scheduler/planner for Teledyne Brown Engineering and purchasing agent for ProZone. During her career, she earned numerous manufacturing certifications before retiring in 2015.

Vicky was a member of the American Legion Post 237 in Huntsville and the Pickering United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. G. L. McKee of Pickering, and grandparents, Leland and Hazel McKee, Pickering, and Alfred and Lois Orme, Hopkins. Survivors include her mother, Shirley McKee (Pickering); brother, Randy McKee (Sheri), Buda, Texas; sister Jackie Zarzour (Charlie); aunt, Barbara Richardson; and cousin, Dala Williams (Tommy) – all of Huntsville.

Other survivors include two nieces, two nephews, three great-nieces, five great-nephews, and her feline companion Tucker. Graveside services will be held July 7th at 11 a.m. at White Oak Cemetery, Pickering, with long-time family friend Terry Vaughn officiating. Visitation with the family will follow at the Pickering Community Building.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nodaway County Humane Society, 829 South Depot, Maryville, Missouri, or the organization of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Laughlin Funeral Home, Huntsville, and Price Funeral Home, Maryville. www.
