Obituary for Viola Junie McKinney Viola Junie McKinney, age 75, a resident of Oliver Springs, died November 10, 2018, at her home. Mrs. McKinney was born May 9th, 1943, in McKee, Kentucky. She moved to Oliver Springs in 1966 and has been a resident ever since, where she was a teacher’s aid for the Anderson County School System for many years.

She was preceded in death by: her parents Elijah and Mary (Glenn) Rader; by four brothers, Jimmie Rader, Sr., John Rader, Eldon Rader, and Sylvester Rader; two sisters, Laura Rader and Nola Madden. She is survived by: Husband James Walter McKinney of Oliver Springs Daughters Teresa McGhee of Harriman ReGennia Lewis of Kingston Renda Gunter of Clinton Sons Rickey McKinney of Oliver Springs James McKinney Jr. of Harriman Sisters Zella Hatton of McKee, KY Cora Marcum of McKee, KY Ruth McKinney of McKee, KY Kay Maggard of McKee, KY 17 grandchildren and 29 greatgrandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman on Monday November 12, 2018 with a Graveside Service to follow in Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood at 3 p.m. Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman serving the McKinney family.
