HEBDEN – Violet, 87, Mineral Point, died February 25, 2019 at Rosewood Assisted Living Community, Richland. Born September 18, 1931, in Nanty Glo, daughter of Hugh and Ethel (Packer) Hamilton. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Thomas Hebden, who died October 31, 2009; son, Ricky; sisters, Vada Hamilton and Mary Ellen Butchkoskey; brother, Raymond Hamilton; and son-in-law, James Robert “Bob” Jarvie.

Survived by daughter, Violet Jarvie, Mineral Point; sons, Thomas, married to Ruth Jones, Stuart, Florida; Ronald, married to Helen Alexander, Yucca, Arizona; and Roger, Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Lori Hebden, Kristi Smith, Jim Jarvie and Rose Marie Hebden; and great grandchildren, Josie and Taylor. Violet had a kind heart and soul. She loved to bake homemade rolls and bread and enjoyed crocheting for her grandchildren, especially at Christmas time.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from Noon until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. Interment, South Fork Cemetery. www.
