Virginia married Daniel Reid on July 4, 1981 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Daniel preceded her in death.

Survivors include: Two sons: David (Nina) Shepard of Rector, Arkansas Mike (Christi) Shepard of Little Rock, Arkansas One daughter: Pam (Mark) Dunn of Rector, Arkansas Nine grandchildren: Lance (Ashley) Shepard, Bryan (Kimmie) Shepard, Skye (David) Moore, Courtney (Reeves) Bennett, Rhett Shepard, Riley Shepard, Reese Shepard and Tiffany (John) Forry Step grandson: Robert (Jessie) Bradshaw Great grandchildren: Emma, Addy, Cole, Dixon, Kloey, Kason, Kendra, Matthew and Taylor. Four brothers: Bill (Connie) Blanchard of St. Louis, Missouri Tom (Marsha) Blanchard of Kennett, Missouri Ron (Gayla) Blanchard of Rector, Arkansas Ed (Sheena) Blanchard of Kennett, Missouri Five sisters: Beverly (Max) Morgan of Kennett, Missouri Sheila (Danny) Carter of Kennett, Missouri Ada (Nick) Robinson of Kennett, Missouri Kim Daugherty of Kennett, Missouri Cap (Lynn) Crites of Oakland, Tennessee Other relatives and many friends. Virginia was preceded in death one brother: Russell Blanchard and granddaughter: Megan Dunn.

Virginia attended Maple Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 PM Saturday, November 24,2018 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett.

Reverend Kenny Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be family and friends.
