Virginia’s Obituary Virginia Fekech, 90, of Sharon, died at 2:41 p.m. on Thursday (March 14, 2019) in Clepper Manor. She was born Aug. 12, 1928, in Mercer, a daughter of Roy and Mertyl (Zook) Palmer.

Virginia was a homemaker and a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church, Mercer. She enjoyed playing scratch-off lottery tickets and going out to eat. Virginia is survived by: a daughter, Stephanie Smith of Farrell; sons, Steve Fekech Jr., Sharon, Jack Fekech, Sharon, and James W. Sutley of Ashtabula, Ohio; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Steve Fekech Sr., whom she married Nov. 26, 1950 and who passed away Aug. 31, 2006; two sons, Butch Sutley and Thomas Fekech; a grandson, Isaac Sutley; and two brothers, Robert and William Palmer.
