Obituary for Virginia Fields Virginia (Grace) Fields, age 76, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at her home. She was saved by the grace of God as a young girl. She loved the Lord and her family.

Those preceding her in death and waiting at the river with her are her father, Floyd Caldwell; mother, Beulah Cole Caldwell; brother, J.C. Caldwell; sisters, Mae Lawson, Clara Ward, Janie Rimer, Irene Hawkins, Willie Marsh and Helen Spears; a special niece, Michelle Johnson; and nephew, Jason Sloan. Those longing to see her again are her husband of 57 years, Earl Fields; son, Tim Fields (Denise); grandchildren, Nichole Fields, Cody Fields (Sarah Yount-Fiancee), Caleb Fields (Brittany Davis-Fiancee, and son Grayson Harrell); great grandchildren, Ashlyn Fields, Caylee Fields, and Ty Willis, and baby Fields; her best friend and sister, Linda (Bob) Sloan; sister-in-law, Wanda Caldwell; special friends, Sam and Wayne Thomason; several nieces and nephews and dear friends. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice Care and Callie Peterson for their excellent and loving care.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Jody Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
