Virginia G. Cross 89 of Streetsboro died Thursday, July 5, 2018. She was born December 19, 1928 in Philippi, WV to Roscoe Shaffer and Gay Shaffer Lantz. Virginia was a former Streetsboro High School Band Booster.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years Edward L., sons Lee Cross and Charles Cross, granddaughter Melissa Cross and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Sarah Shaffer and stepfather Carl Lantz, brother and sister in law Charles and Polly Shaffer, half sister Shirley Lantz Starr and half brother Robert Lantz. The family would like to thank the staff at the Gardens of Western Reserve for their wonderful care.

Calling hours will be from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM Monday, July 9, 2018 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Reverend William Snyder will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro.
