Virginia Gordon, 96, formerly of Binghamton, passed on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 after enjoying a ten year stay with her daughter and family in Albuquerque, NM. She was reunited with her husband of 60 years Floyd W Gordon and three siblings. She is survived by her loving daughters Linda Plain (Ronald Plain), Judy Gordon Harris (Jeff Harris); two grandsons, John Harris and Tim Harris and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Virginia was a member of Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church. She will be remembered as an avid reader, gardener, and seamstress. Virginia also enjoyed knitting and crocheting and made hundreds of blankets to share with friends and to donate to Project Linus.

She also had many fond memories of her years volunteering with the Girl Scouts. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 5, from 10:30 to 11:00 at Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church, Johnson City. A funeral service officiated by Rev.

Daniel Ling will follow at 11:00 with entombment in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Virginia’s memory can be made to Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church or to any local library. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.
