Virginia M. Jasinski, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in Dayton, Ohio. She was born in Toledo on June 21, 1921, the oldest daughter of Chester and Marie (Pescel) Figmaka who predecease her in death. She is also predeceased by her husband, Edward, and her sister, Phyllis Zientara.

She is survived by her son James, daughter-in-law Susan, and granddaughters Corey Pence of Frisco, TX and Lindsey (Ryan) Francois of Madisonville, LA. She is also survived by three great granddaughters, Madalene Pence, Cameron Francois and Hollis Francois, as well as a niece and nephew Nancy (Jack) Tomasewski and Nicholas Zientara. Virginia was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxilliary having been enrolled as an infant and was an active member of the American Legion’s 8 and 40 Society.

She was also a past Lucas County and Di strict President of the American Legion Auxilliary. Family and friends may visit on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10:30 a.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
