Virginia K. Radovich, age 86, of Batavia, formerly of Geneva, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Holmstad Retirement Community. She was born August 2, 1932 in Chicago, the daughter of Stilianos and Rebecca Korakas and raised in St. Charles, Illinois. Virginia worked at the Chicago Title Company for many years until her retirement in 1971.

She was a long time member of Saint Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church in Aurora. In her spare time, Virginia loved to paint and was a former member of the Wayne Art League. She also enjoyed traveling and gardening.

Her favorite pastime, however, was spending time with her family and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her stepchildren Charles (Barbara) of Geneva, Joan (Jim Ragsdale) of Ventura, California, and Valerie (John) Trimble of Fishers, Indiana; granddaughter Jennifer (Jordan) Naylor of Batavia; great grandchildren Meredith and Amanda Naylor; brother George (Melanie) Korakas and nephew Joseph Korakas all of Naples, Florida; and many other dear relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and devoted husband of 40 years, Joseph, who passed away in 2012.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 am at Saint Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, 1855 E. 5th Avenue, Aurora with Rev. Dr. Peter J. Spiro, celebrant. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in St. Charles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Alzheimer’s Association, 8430 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite 800, Chicago, Illinois 60631 would be appreciated. Arrangements handled by Malone Funeral Home in Geneva.
