Mrs. Virginia M. Kellerman, 95, of DuBois, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018. Born October 4, 1922, in Youngsville, PA, she was the daughter of Nettie Mildred Jones DeVore and Fred C. DeVore of Warren, PA. Virginia and Elmer Kellerman married in the North Warren, PA Presbyterian Church on February 24, 1943.

Virginia was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of DuBois and was active in the Berean Bible Class there for many years. … Read More » While Virginia and Elmer traveled during WWII when Elmer served in the United States Air Force, Virginia worked in a USO office, sending out groups to various locations.

She later worked as a bookkeeper for the Printz Company in Warren, PA and as a bookkeeper for Levine Brothers Clothing Store in DuBois. During their many years in DuBois, Virginia was active in Bell Telephone Wives, Bell Pioneers, and the Nautilus Club. Virginia is survived by her three children: her daughters, Cheryl (Donald) Jackson of The Villages, Florida and Lori (John) McLean of Fenton, Michigan and The Villages, Florida, and her son, Terry (Dorle) Kellerman of Fremont, California.

She is also survived by her brother, Lyle E. DeVore Sr., of Warren, PA and two sisters, Mrs. Lorraine Stanton of Erie, PA and Mrs. Lovena Rulander of North Warren, PA; six grandchildren: Brian Jackson, Keith Kellerman, Lira Diecidue, Vanessa Mullenix, Matthew McLean, and Julie Diehl; six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Raymond DeVore and Donald DeVore, preceded her in death. Friends and family will be received Friday, June 8th from 6-8 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. and Saturday, June 9th from 12-1 p.m. at the First United Presbyterian Church in DuBois.

Following Saturday’s visitation at the church, a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with LaMarr Adamson CLP officiating. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association at donatenow.
