She was born June 22, 1931 in South Bend, IN to the late Leslie Roy and Mildred Reichman. On December 16, 1950, she married George Jerdon at a ceremony in Gilman City, MO.

Virginia graduated from Brandywine Sr. High School in 1976. She worked at Simplicity Pattern. Virginia is survived by her husband of 68 years, George; children, Sheila (Roger) Kline, Patricia (Jerry) Pinch, Larry (Betty) Jerdon, John (Linda) Jerdon, David (Cindy) Jerdon, Debbie (Jeff) Westgate; 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Mildred, and sister, Linda Carol. Cremation has taken place. Family will have a private burial at a later date at Bertrand Bible Church Cemetery.
