Virginia Quattrone Kovall, 87, of Steubenville died Wednesday April 4, 2018 at home. She was born August 24, 1930 in Buffalo, NY. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Marino Quattrone, Virginia is also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Kovall, three brothers, Edward, Anthony (Kathryn) and, Joseph, and two sisters, Madeline (Joseph) Bruzzese and Agnes Barilla.

Virginia was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church and was retired from the Steubenville Social Security office. Surviving are her sister in law Josephine Quattrone and brother in law, Pete Barilla. Virginia graduated from Steubenville High School class of 1948.

Virginia will be missed by many, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She truly lived life to the fullest and leaves behind her many friends from work, card clubs, and bowling leagues. She also leaves behind her extended family of caregivers who supported her in her later years.

Elizabeth “Lizzy” Van Tilburg, Jace and Atticus Kidder, and Charlene Francis. There will be a memorial mass Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:30 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt.

Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Rd. , Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
