Wanda Szafranska, Phoenix, Arizona, Formerly of Saginaw. Beloved mother and grandmother passed away on March 12, 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona. Age 80 years.

The daughter of the late Peter and Barbara (Siudak) Szafranski, Wanda was born on October 26, 1938 in Yspina, Poland coming to the United States on January 11, 1966. She was formerly married to Walter Babraj. Wanda was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, singing and dancing.

Surviving are one son and one daughter, Michal Babraj, Arizona City, Arizona; Lucille (Brent) Bullock, Cave Creek, Arizona; two granddaughters, Cortney Krause and Brooklyn Bullock. Wanda was preceded in death by three siblings. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State Street.

Rev. Fr. Richard Bokinskie will officiate with entombment to follow in Oakwood Mausoleum.

Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to The Oasis at Fellowship Square – Christian Care Foundation (www. christiancare.org ), where Wanda lived the last five years as a beloved resident of the memory care unit.
