Agnes F. Mazur, Birch Run, Michigan. Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Friday, March 8, 2019. Age 90 years.

Daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Demski) Solek, Agnes was born May 28, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Louis M. Mazur on April 19, 1947. He predeceased her May 24, 1999.

Agnes had been employed by King Communication as a telephone operator for 30 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Birch Run, its Altar Society, League of Catholic Women and V.F.W Post 7542 Auxiliary. Agnes enjoyed the outdoor life and helping her friends.

Surviving to cherish her memory are five sons, Gary Mazur, Louis M. and Connie Mazur, Timothy Mazur, Thomas and Diane Mazur and Robert Mazur; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Agnes was preceded in death by her son, James Michael Mazur; her granddaughter, Jodi Louise Mazur; her sister, Eleanor Borucki and three brothers, Stanley, Hank and Frank Solek. Honoring Mrs. Mazur’s wishes cremation has taken place.

A private committal of cremains will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
