Wanda Kay Williams, 58, of Grifton passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 10th surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her four daughters; Elizabeth Warren DeSandre and husband Richard DeSandre and grandsons Gage Sessoms and Gavin Sessoms, Meredith Wilson and husband Cruz Wilson, Heather Warren, Kaylee Lewis, her father Pete Williams, her sister Annie Tyson and husband Randy, her niece and nephew Beverly Craft and Kenneth Tyson and their families. She is pre-deceased by her mother Bettie Williams and her sister Donna Williams.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and child of God who always put her faith and family first. A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 14th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Farmers Funeral Home 109 Second Street Ayden, NC 28513 followed by a burial service on Thursday at 11:00 at Riverside Christian Church in Grifton. Her daughters would like to thank Dr. Zervos of Vidant Medical Center and his staff and the nurses for their dedication and excellent care during her battle with cancer.
