OBITUARY Warren Eugene Carr May 12, 1939 – September 23, 2018 Warren Eugene Carr, 79, of Lynchburg passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at his home. He was born on May 12, 1939 in Lynchburg, son of the late James and Madie Carr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Carr; four brothers and five sisters.

Warren was a retired welder/group leader with Delta Star after 35 years of service. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing and watching his children and grandchildren play ball. Survivors include his devoted and loving wife, Linda D. Carr; three sons, Kent Carr (Sandy), Mark Carr (Tracy), and Troy Carr (Fancy); a sister, Earlene Puckett; five grandchildren, to whom he was known affectionately as DaDa, Kari C. McCleese (Sean), Cody Carr (Haley), Logan Carr, Kasey Carr and her mother Sherry Catron, and Tyler Carr; one great grandchild, Hunter Carr.

He is also survived by his beloved canine companion, Rocky. A celebration of Warren’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Art Cavanaugh officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the funeral home.
