East Liverpool, OH. Welcome F. Mason, 83 lifelong resident of East Liverpool passed away at the Valley Oaks Care Center on Saturday, May 26, 2018. He was a son of the late Welcome F. Mason and Lula Brown Mason, and was born in East Liverpool on January 30, 1935.

Welcome was a retired manager of the Pottery City Antique Mall and a member of the Second Christian Church in East Liverpool. He was a 1954 graduate of the East Liverpool High School and a member of the E.L.H.S. Alumni Association.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Thompson. Surviving are his cousins, Diana Dalrymple, Nancy Farinacci, Ronda Wells, and John Brown, Jr., as well as several nieces and nephews. In fulfilling Welcome’s wishes, no services are planned, and he is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
