Funeral services for Wendell “Pocket Rocket” Dixon, age 55 will be held at 12:00 P.M. Friday, November 30, 2018 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Matt Anderson will officiate.

Mr. Dixon was born April 17, 1963 in Cadwell, Georgia. He was the son of the late Alfred Dixon, Jr. and Norma Lee Jackson Dixon. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Dixon.

Mr. Dixon is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Dixon of East Dublin, a son, Nicolas Dixon of East Dublin a sister, Barbara Herndon of Rentz, a brother, Tommy (Martha) Dixon of East Dublin, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Billy Dixon, Kirk Register, Jerry Herndon, Randy Brown, Timmy Brown, and Daniel Dixon. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the funeral home.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
