Wendell Ray Menke, 64, of New Haven, MO, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Hermann, Missouri. Wendell was born in Washington, Missouri on July 11, 1954, a son of Virgil & Lorene (Kemper) Menke. He was the husband of Theresa “Terri” (Willimann) Menke.

They were united in marriage on August 15, 1992 in New Haven, Missouri. Wendell worked as a union carpenter until after he was married. He then opened his own business which was Menke Construction.

Wendell cherished his grandchildren and spending time with them. He never missed any of their extracurricular activities, whether it was baseball games, scouts, or watching them race derby cars that he helped them build. Wendell is survived by, his mother, Lorene Menke, of New Haven, his wife Terri, of the home, by their two daughters, Tiffany Femmer, of New Haven, Missouri; and Tonya Whitman, of Dutzow, Missouri; by his beloved grandchildren, Josh, Hannah, Savannah, & Mya Pilarski, and Evan Femmer, by a brother, Kirby Menke & wife Brenda, of New Haven; by a brother, Randy Menke & wife Phyllis, of New Haven; a sister, Donna Kreftmeyer & husband Danny, of New Haven; a sister, Mona Strobel & husband Tim, of New Haven; a brother, Duane Kemper & wife Carol, of New Melle, Missouri; and by many nieces and nephews.

Visitations will be held Tuesday, March 5th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be given to his grandchildren’s education. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
