Obituary for Willa Jean Rinke Wichita, Kansas – Willa J. Rinke, 91, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Harry Hynes Hospice at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita. She was born January 5, 1927 in Isabel to Roy and Elsie (Scrogin) Banks. On May 12, 1944, she married John Rinke in Newton.

He preceded her in death in 1985. Willa moved to Kansas from Oklahoma in 1997. While living in Wichita, she and her daughter, Connie, volunteered as a team for the American Red Cross transporting blood products across the state of Kansas, she loved playing pitch and other card games and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, John (Jayne) Rinke of Claremore, Oklahoma, Robert Rinke of Wichita, Danny (Lori) Rinke of Bristow, Oklahoma; daughters, Connie Jason of Wichita and Becky Smith of Bristow, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Willa is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and daughters, Sharon Dodson and Nancy Wonder. Cremation has taken place.

Graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Isabel Cemetery, Isabel. Memorials may be made to American Red Cross or Harry Hynes Hospice in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.
